Project Description

Building on the success of the previous year’s Careers Fair, Glenwood High School organised a second edition to provide senior pupils (S4-S6) with valuable insights into diverse career paths and job opportunities. The event aimed to help students make informed decisions about their future endeavours by engaging with various businesses, colleges, universities, and organisations.

The event included a structured Careers Fair from 14:00 to 15:30, where students interacted with stallholders in 20-minute sessions. After a break for food and refreshments, the fair continued from 16:15 to 17:15, providing an opportunity for both students and parents to engage with organisations.

Participating Organisations

The event featured a diverse range of businesses, colleges, universities, and partners, including Specsavers, Semefab, Babcock, Home Sweet Homes Estate Agency, Diageo, British Armed Forces, Fife Council, Fife College, NHS, Rollos, DYW Fife, Skills Development Scotland, Exxon Mobil, and several prominent universities.

The Glenwood High School Careers Fair 2023 achieved its goal of providing senior pupils with a wealth of information and opportunities for their future careers. The positive feedback from both students and participating organisations demonstrates the success of the event in facilitating meaningful connections and promoting informed decision-making among the school’s young population.
