Fife Council is looking for a motivated individual to join its IT team as a Systems Developer Graduate Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience while studying towards a degree in Software Development.
The Role
You’ll work alongside experienced IT professionals, supporting key systems used across Fife Council while helping to develop digital solutions that improve services for employees and the public.

Key Duties

Provide day-to-day support for business systems
Work with colleagues to understand business requirements
Develop solutions using no-code, low-code, and software development tools
Test new systems and enhancements before implementation
Analyse data to support business improvement
Assist with system upgrades and updates
Explore new technologies, including automation and AI
Support systems used by council staff and members of the public

About You

Interested in software development and technology
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Eager to learn and develop new technical skills
Interested in using technology to improve services and processes
