DYW Fife will host its first Business Breakfast of 2025 on Tuesday 17th June 2025 from 8.30am Networking for a 9:00am start – 10:15am at the Dean Park Hotel, Kirkcaldy. This will be followed by our Manufacturing and Engineering & Construction Showcase from 11:15am – 2:45pm.

The structure of the day will be;

Business Breakfast Networking – 8.30am
Speakers start – 9:00-10:15am
Manufacturing and Engineering Showcase – 11:15am – 2:45pm

The breakfast will have a particular focus on Manufacturing, Engineering & Construction, with Sarah Forbes of CITB attending as keynote speaker (others inc Young people TBC). You will have an opportunity to hear how DYW Fife can help bridge the gap between businesses and Education with dialogue and opportunities for businesses to engage with our schools, young people, and the future workforce in Fife. The DYW Fife team and our network of DYW School coordinators will be on hand and you will hear from young people who have benefited from engaging through DYW initiatives. It is also an opportunity to network with others from across these sectors in Fife.

Following our breakfast, businesses will have the opportunity to exhibit at our Showcase. Targeted S4/5/6 pupils from all 18 High Schools with an interest in these areas, and nearing transition will attend between 11:15am and 2:45pm (lunch 12:45pm-1:30pm) allowing them the opportunity to explore and learn how the sector has evolved and discuss the skills and future opportunities within this innovative landscape.  Lunch will be provided to all exhibitors on the day. Spaces to exhibit on are limited so please be quick to secure your spot.
