Gordon Reid is the Business Development Manager at Re-Employ Fife. Based in Lochgelly, Re-Employ focus on providing employment opportunities to unemployed disabled people. This inclusive approach by Gordon and his team offers support while inspiring individuals into sustainable opportunities and at the same time promoting equality and diversity.

Covid-19 has brought with it many challenges to Re-Employ and the company have had to adapt and have recently been involved in the design and manufacture of face visors using a laser machine. Initially the face visors were donated to frontline staff. Re-Employ have now supplied 1000’s of visors to Doctor’s Surgeries, Hospitals, Care Homes, Butchers and many more essential businesses and organisations. Both the masks and the visors are now on sales to frontline services and the General public.

Re-Employ also introduced the “NHS Bundle”, a rainbow branded Mug, Pen and Shopping Trolley Keyring. With every purchase Re-Employ have donated £2 to our frontline services.

Re-Employ aims to prove that the most vulnerable members of society, possess unique skills and abilities, which can contribute to a quest for excellence and the creation of quality outcomes.
