Looking for a hands-on role where you can make a positive difference to the environment?
Enviro Kleen is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Recycling Operative to join its team in Kirkcaldy. Working within a busy waste management and recycling facility, you’ll help sort and process recyclable materials, operate equipment and ensure materials are prepared correctly for recycling. This is a physically demanding role involving regular heavy lifting and manual work.
What You’ll Do:
- Sort and separate different waste and recyclable materials
- Operate machinery and equipment to process materials
- Prepare materials correctly for recycling
- Monitor the recycling process and help maintain quality standards
- Keep your work area clean, safe and organised
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Able to carry out physical work and heavy lifting on a daily basis
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, dedicated and punctual
Pay & Benefits:
- Age 16-17: £8.00 per hour (£16,640 per year based on 40 hours per week)
- Age 18-20: £10.85 per hour (£22,568 per year based on 40 hours per week)
- Age 21+: £12.71 per hour (£26,436.80 per year based on 40 hours per week)
- Target achievement bonus scheme
- Attendance bonus scheme
- Salary paid monthly in arrears
