St Andrews University – IT Services Event – 16-19 year olds only

Location: St Andrews

Contract: Event

Closing Date:

IT apprenticeship information evening – Tuesday 10 March
IT Services at the University of St Andrews will host an information evening on Tuesday 10 March for local school leavers aged 16 to 19 who are interested in starting a career in technology.
The event will take place at Walter Bower House, Guardbridge, with two sessions available: 5:15pm to 6pm and 6:15pm to 7pm.
Our award‑winning apprenticeship programme has supported more than 40 apprentices into permanent roles with employers including Rockstar Games, DC Thomson, and Fife College. We are committed to developing the next generation of IT professionals and providing routes into high‑quality careers.
Young people and their parents or carers are invited to meet members of the IT Services team, including current and former apprentices to learn about the modern apprenticeship opportunities across IT Service Desk and IT/AV Support.
Our training provider, Elite Modern Apprenticeships Scotland, will also be available to discuss the training, qualifications, and support offered throughout the programme.
This session is designed to give practical, clear information about what an apprenticeship in IT involves and how to apply. It is suitable for anyone considering a first step into the technology sector.
If you know a young person interested in digital careers, please encourage them to come along.
