Based at our facility in Glenrothes, Fife, our Graduate Apprenticeship programme delivers an exciting new way for you to gain a BEng (Hons) Engineering Design and Manufacture (Electronic) from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh – with valuable industry experience that will set you apart from your peers. You study broadly the same subjects as those completing a traditional full-time undergraduate degree, and achieve the equivalent level of qualification over a four-year period. The key difference is you will undertake your learning as a mix of classroom and workplace-based training and assessment – whilst engaged in paid employment as a core member of our Process Engineering team. We provide you with a full-time employment contract whilst you complete your degree, with the opportunity for a permanent role following graduation. Initially, you will complete 1 day per week classroom learning at university, and 4 days per week workplace learning. The balance of office versus lecture time alters as you progress through your degree.
