Deborah Cameron Creative Artist Studio are looking to recruit a Print Room Production Operator, to be based in Glenrothes, Fife.
About the Role
The Print Room Production Operator will be responsible for operating a range of sublimation heat presses to create high-quality giftware products. The role involves setting up and printing templates, operating heat presses, checking the quality of their work, meeting deadlines and packing orders.
The main tasks and responsibilities involved in this role include:
- Prepare products for the heat press process
- Operate sublimation heat presses.
- Ensure the quality of products by checking own work for defects or errors.
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
- Assist in packing orders accurately and promptly.
- Print templates required for production.
- Assist with product sourcing.
- Assist with research and design.
- Check stock levels and place orders to maintain continuous supply.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines when operating equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods while operating machinery.
- Capacity to lift and move boxes up to 15kg.
- Manual dexterity for handling small items and operating equipment.
