Blackadders are delighted to launch a Modern Apprenticeship programme in Paralegal Practice and are looking for talented individuals to apply for this programme and embark upon a rewarding career in the legal profession.
Successful applicants will join us on a 2-year Paralegal Traineeship. During your first year you will complete the formal SVQ Level 3 / SCQF Level 7 apprenticeship programme, specialising in either conveyancing or wills and executries (conducted via online learning), followed by 12 months workplace development during which you will enhance your knowledge and skills.
Subject to successful completion of the programme, we aim to offer full time employment in a Paralegal role.
You will have qualifications in Higher English and National 5 Mathematics (or recognised equivalent) and ideally have 12 months experience in a customer facing role, either through employment or volunteering work. You will also have a passion for learning, developing new skills and the ability to produce high quality work autonomously and within a team.
No previous legal experience is required as you will be fully supported through our traineeship mentor programme.
