Rybka is a leading firm Building Services Consultancy engaged in a range of exciting projects across all property and construction sectors. We operate across the UK with offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and London.

About the Role 

Due to continued growth, we are now seeking the following candidates to join our teams in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Inverness from Graduate to Senior:

  • Graduate Electrical Engineers
  • Graduate Mechanical Engineers
  • Graduate Building Physics Engineers
  • Graduate Sustainability Engineers
  • Graduate CAD/BIM Technicians

You will be working on a variety of projects across all sectors of the property and construction industry including Passivhaus and Net Zero Carbon developments.  The ability to adapt to new procedures and new systems will be essential to the way we work and the development of the services for the future.

Requirements (Essential)

  • 1 year experience for graduates and no less than 3 years for Engineer.
  • Graduate – Graduate qualifications in an Engineering subject (with the ability to progress to Chartered Engineer status) is essential.
  • Engineer – Chartered engineer status or working towards Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
  • Experience of substantial, complex construction projects.
  • Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience of operating in an ISO9001 Quality Management System.
  • Knowledge of Engineering systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel and email.
  • Appreciation and experience of the Technical Standards (Scotland) and relevant British Standards.

Desirable 

  • Knowledge of specification, simulation and modelling techniques such as AutoCAD, IES, NES, cable design, lighting design and lift traffic analysis.
  • Knowledge of Engineering systems.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and low carbon design.
  • Knowledge of planning legislative requirements.
