Electricity Asset Services (EAS) is looking for a Trainee Jointer to join its growing, family-run business. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in the electricity industry, gaining hands-on experience while working towards becoming a qualified Jointer.
Based from EAS Head Office in Lochgelly, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals on sites across Central Scotland, helping to install, maintain, and repair electricity networks for SSEN and SPEN.
What You’ll Do
- Support experienced Jointers with electrical cable installation and maintenance
- Learn LV, HV and 33kV cable jointing and termination techniques
- Complete structured training and development programmes
- Follow health and safety procedures on site
- Assist with fault finding, repairs, and new electricity connections
What We’re Looking For
- Aged 18 or over
- National 5 Maths qualification
- Full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport
- Based in or around the Perth area
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to learn
- Interested in building a long-term career in the electrical industry
