DYW Fife is looking for young people from S3-S6 to become DYW Ambassadors. The aim of the ambassador program is to build your skills whilst being role models who promote experiences, pathways, volunteering, and bridge the gap between education and the world of work.

Ambassadors should work with DYW Coordinators in schools to:

  1. Promote Employability Skills: Encourage peers to develop essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, which are vital for future careers.
  2. Facilitate Connections: Act as a liaison between young people, schools, and employers, helping to create opportunities for work experience, apprenticeships, and career guidance.
  3. Inspire and Motivate: Share experiences and success stories to inspire other young people to take proactive steps in their career development.
  4. Raise Awareness: Help raise awareness about the importance of education, career planning, and the available resources to support young people in their career journeys.
  5. Provide Peer Support: Offer guidance and mentorship to fellow students or peers, helping them navigate challenges related to their education and career choices.

Overall, the program aims to build leadership skills in the ambassadors while also fostering a culture of collaboration between young people, schools, and employers. They features of this role include.
