Realm Construction is a Lochgelly based Civil Engineering & Groundworks contractor (part of the Purvis Group of Companies).
As a Business Administration Modern Apprentice, you’ll receive full training, competitive salary of £15k pa and a fantastic opportunity to build a career with an established local company.
Key duties:
- Sales & Purchase Invoice processing
- Co-ordinating & storing data (scanning, filing and archiving data)
- Liaising with customers & suppliers
- Support departments with their day to day administration tasks
- Handling telephone & email queries
- Dealing with incoming & outgoing mail
- Top up photocopiers with paper & toner
- Book meeting rooms & prepare for Teams/in person meetings
- Assist with procurement
- Assist with consumables stock control
- Holiday cover to support the wider team
- Completing a modern apprenticeship in Business Administration (SCQF Level 5 in Year 1, SCQF Level 6 in Year 2)
- The candidate must have the following skills & qualities:
- A mature & confident approach
- Experience using Office 365
- Organisation skills & able to use own initiative
- Capable of picking up, and applying, new ideas and concepts quickly
- Numerical skills (a strong grasp of maths/admin/business studies are essential)
- Excellent timekeeping & attendance record
- Communication & customer service skills
- Problem solving skills & able to multi task
- Enjoy working in a team environment
To apply for this post the following qualifications are desirable at Higher/National 5 level: Maths (or Applications of Maths), English, Admin & IT, Business Management (Accounting & Finance may also be useful, a Foundation Apprenticeship qualification or NC qualification) plus a good all round education.
