IT Services is responsible for providing, developing and maintaining the University’s central IT infrastructure and for the delivery of a wide range of technology-based services to both staff and students
IT Services multi-award-winning apprenticeship programme has been providing career opportunities for young people from the local area since 2012. In this time, over 40 Modern Apprentices have been employed with us on two-year contracts. So far, all IT apprentices who have completed their contract with us have gone on to secure a permanent role as an IT professional.
We are now recruiting for our next Apprentice IT Service Desk Analyst. In this important role, you will develop your skills to provide first line IT support to a university community of over 12,500 staff and students. IT Services prides itself on excellent service, and we are looking forward to welcoming our next apprentice into the team to help us maintain this.
